Tens of thousands of people have been parishioners at St. Joseph’s over the past 155 years. Some were heroes, others were well-known people, but most were (and are) simply everyday people. This part of the website provides a history of the parish, as well as selected photos of the parishioners and events in the parish.

Read the full history of the parish, written by Terry Byrne, in his 2006 book entitled , Where the Spirit Lives A History of St. Joseph’s Parish, 1856-2006.

During November we remember those who have died. This year the History Committee remembers those from our parish who died in World War II. The list of names of those who have died and stories from that time can be found at this link (link currently unavailable due to website problems. Sorry!).
